8:30 am Shannon Ctr. to Cal-Pal loop

3-M 60 miles 8:30 a.m.  ‘Cal-Pal’ ride from Shannon Center.  Dan’s hosting this ride that includes two of our favorite climbs:  Calaveras and Palomares.  Leaving from Shannon Center in Dublin we’ll head south to Sunol and continue on Calaveras past the reservoir to a regroup at Ed Levin Park.  Then down into Milpitas and north to Niles Canyon before climbing over Calaveras and returning via Dublin Grade.  Take I-680 to the Alcosta exit and go south on San Ramon Rd.; turn right on Shannon Rd. and right again into the parking lot.  Route can be seen at: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/4424658
