Feather Pedals is our monthly introductory group ride typically offered on the 3rd Saturday through most of the year.

If you are new to group cycling or are unsure of your riding pace, then we invite you make one of the Feather Pedals rides your first ride with us. These are "no drop" rides with frequent regroups and a sweep. Easy to moderate grades. Leisurely to moderate pace.

You don't need to be a member to ride with us, but everyone must register!And when you do ride with us more than three or four times, we ask that you show your appreciation and support by joining the Club! :-)

Ride rating: 2/3 L/M - No Drop (we do our best to not drop any riders).

Route Description:
After the Ribbon Cutting, we'll cross the new Bollinger Bridge to check-in and start the ride from Sports Basement.

We'll head down Alcosta, over Old Ranch to Dougherty and Windemere with restroom stop at Tassajara Ridge Staging Area.

Then out Tassajara to Highland for an out-and-back loop to Collier Canyon and Carneal before returning to Tassajara with two more short out-and-backs on Finley and Johnson. Back on Camino Tassajara our Coffee Stop will be at Blackhawk Plaza Starbucks. We continue downhill on CaminoTassajara to Greenbrook, to left on San Ramon Valley Rd to Norris Canyon, right on Alcosta  and right at Marketplace to Sports Basement.
