Social Saturday
Come join us this Saturday on a social ride for a Tour of Larkspur, Tiburon, and Angel Island. Please remember to register early so we can give the Tiburon Ferry an idea of how many bikes to expect.
There will be two staging options.
North Berkeley BART
For those wanting a longer ride, you can stage from North Berkeley BART. If you take the Pleasanton BART at 7:12, you will arrive in Berkeley at 8:04. This gives you about 1.5 hours to ride 17 miles to the Larkspur Ferry Terminal where we will pick up the other group.

If you want a shorter ride, you can stage from the Larkspur Ferry Terminal. Please be prepared and ready to roll at 9:45. You will have about one hour to get to the Tiburon Ferry. There are restrooms available before you reach the terminal in the Marin Country Mart (formerly known as Larkspur Landing).

Angel Island
Please pre-purchase your tickets for the Ferry before hand so you are ready to board as soon as you arrive in Tiburon. Here is their website:

Please note we will be catching the 11:00 a.m. ferry and returning on the 1:20 ferry. This gives you about two hours to tour the island. There may be a cafe on the island, however, you should bring food just in case.
It is imperative that your bikes be in excellent operational order….check tires, quick release, cables before this adventure to ensure everything is operational…we will have very limited time to repair flats or to perform minor mechanical repairs prior to reaching the ferry.
Foggy or drizzly weather will cancel the ride...I will let you know by 6:00 a.m. if the ride will be canceled.
The sun will be setting at about 5:00 p.m., so make sure you give yourself ample time to get back to Berkeley….riders departing from Larkspur should have plenty of time to return before dark.
