Before the ride:

  • Brief safety chat to cover any specific safety reminders or traffic issues
  • Introduction of new riders

Main regroup:  Corner of Raymond and Ames

  • Do not pull straight into the corner gravel area

From the regroup point to the end of the ride:

  • The group generally stays together at a slightly more friendly pace
  • Fast push/sprint up Greenville
  • Some riders return to Livermore Trek, while most will start dropping off mid-route to navigate home.

If you get dropped along the route:

Pacelines:

  • Pacelines often form during the rides
  • If you are new to pacelines, here is a helpful video: How to ride a pace line
  • This will help you understand how to rotate in crosswinds and in an echelon
  • Feel free to ask any questions before the ride starts
