Ride Details
We will ride up Mines Rd in Livermore to the Alameda/Santa Clara County Line and then back. You can reverse the route at any point.
There will be an optional rest stop with beer and food available for purchase at the end of the ride at Home Grown Hops (3000 Mines Rd, Livermore, CA 94550).
This route goes through a sparsely populated region with long road sections of just one lane. There is no public water until arriving back in Livermore. Make sure to leave the start fully hydrated and with two-full water bottles on your bicycle. Bring some energy snacks.
Cell service is limited the farther back you go on Mines Rd. Check to make sure that your bicycle is in good condition and that you are prepared for minor mechanical problems.
The weather is predicted to be warm by ner the end of the ride, bring two full water bottles and some energy snacks.
