RIDE DETAILS
Title: Mount Diablo Challenge Training Ride from AlamoTrek store. M/L pace (13 mph to 11 mph average moving speed).
Start time: 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early for ride preparation, check in and briefing.
Ride Details: Trek Alamo to San Ramon via Camino Tassajara and Highland loop, then back via Windemere and Blackhawk. 40 miles with approx 2200 feet of climbing over mostly rolling hills. You can choose to skip the loop around Highland and Carneal and make it a 32 mile ride with less climbing.
Regroups at the corner of Camino Tassajara and Highland (12 miles), at the Dog Park on Windemere (22 miles, restrooms available), and at Livorna Park (37 miles, restrooms available).
Restrooms are also available at the start of the ride in theSafeway. No coffee break on this ride but we can meet for coffee afterwards at the Peet's Coffee.

You must register online on the VSBC website or via the Wild Apricot app in order to participate in the ride. Please bring your own route sheet as I will not have any paper copies. You do not need to be a VSBC member in order to participate in this ride, but we ask that you become a member if you ride with us more than 3 times in a year.
Cancellation: In case of cancellation due to rain or any other reason, an email will be sent the night before by 8pm
