Saturday Ride - Marin Golden Gate Bridge Ride

Join us on Saturday, July 1st starting at 9:30am as we get away from the hot weather and ride through Marin County. We will start from the Golden Gate Ferry parking lot in Larkspur.

The route will hug the coast from Larkspur to Sausalito, to the Golden Gate Bridge, then return via Sausalito, Tiburon and back to Larkspur. There will be several short re-groups along the way, a coffee break in Sausalito and a well-earned lunch in Tiburon before completing our ride for the day.

Starting location: Golden Gate Ferry Parking, 410 Larkspur Landing Circle

Ride Rating: 2-3L/M 

The current weather forecast indicates a high in the mid 60s in Sausalito and Tiburon. It can get a bit windy, especially near the Golden Gate Bridge area.

This is a no-drop ride with regroups and plenty of commercial facilities along the way.

Start Time: 9:30am Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Please note that the starting point is approximately 43 miles from San Ramon, so give yourself plenty of time to get there on time.

Start and End Location: Golden Gate Ferry parking lot in Larkspur. 410 Larkspur Landing Circle, Larkspur.  Parking is free on the weekends at this lot.

You must register online on the VSBC website or via the Wild Apricot app in order to participate in the ride. Please bring your own route sheet as I will not have any paper copies. You do not need to be a VSBC member, but we appreciate your support if you intend to ride with us often.

Re-groups:

Coffee: Sausalito Bakery and Cafe on 571 Bridgeway (approx. 10.6 miles from start)
Lunch: Caffe Acri at 1 Main Street in Tiburon (approx. 27.8 miles from start)

Cancellation: In case of cancellation due to rain or any other reason, an email will be sent the night before by 8pm
