Fremont Dumbarton to Portola Valley

Fremont Dumbarton to Portola Valley and back.

Mileage and rating: 38 miles 3 L/M with 1379 ft. elevation This is a no-drop ride with a regroup and brunch break at the 19 mile mark at the Alpine Road Beer Garden (aka Zott's).

Date and time: Saturday 7/30/2022, 9 a.m. Please arrive 15 minutes before that to allow time for checking in, ride preparation and safety briefing.

Restrooms are available at the starting point (SF Bay Wildlife Visitor Center on Marshlands Road, Fremont) and at Zott's. Please note that we will be starting from the Visitor Center parking lot on the East side of the road (make a right into the parking lot if you are going North on Marshlands Road from Thornton Ave.)

Description: We will ride from Fremont across the Dumbarton Bridge into Palo Alto and Portola Valley. We will take a brunch break at the historic Alpine Road Beer Garden (here is some info about the place: Alpine Road Beer Garden). Then we will head back across the Dumbarton Bridge to the starting point.
