Starting from the Daly City BART station, we'll head down south and take the bike paths as much as we can to enjoy the coastal scenery. We'll regroup at Devil's Slide which used to be part of Highway 1 and now opens to pedestrians and cyclists only. The ocean view is spectacular and with a bit of luck we may see whales spouting in the distance. The route continues to Half Moon Bay where we'll regroup. After that we'll head down south and up Tunitas Creek for a long climb. The reward is a long and steep descent in shady areas into Woodside where we'll have our final regroup before crossing the Dumbarton Bridge. The route ends at the Union City BART station.
