VSBC MARIN RIDE

RIDE DETAILS

Join us on Saturday, June 4th starting at 9:00am as we ride through the streets of Marin County. We will start from the Bed Bath and Beyond parking lot in Larkspur, and then hug the coast from Tiburon to Sausalito. There will be re-groups, a sweep rider, a coffee break in Sausalito and a well-earned lunch in Tiburon before completing our ride for the day.

Please note that the current weather forecast indicates a high of 64 degrees, and it can get a bit windy and foggy in parts of the ride, especially near the Golden Gate area.

Mileage and Rating: 39 miles 2-3 L/M with 1670 ft elevation. This is a no-drop ride with regroups, and plenty of commercial facilities along the way.

Start Time: 9:00am Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.

Start and End Location: Front of Bed Bath and Beyond located at 2601 Larkspur Landing Circle in Larkspur.

You must register online on the VSBC website or via the Wild Apricot app in order to participate in the ride. Please bring your own route sheet as there will not be any paper copies. You do not need to be a VSBC member, but we appreciate your support if you intend to ride with us often.

Re-groups: Will be listed on Ride with GPS cue sheet a few days before the ride.

Coffee: Sausalito Bakery and Cafe on 571 Bridgeway (approx. 10.6 miles from start)
Lunch: Caffe Acri at 1 Main Street in Tiburon (approx. 27.8 miles from start)
