5M 44 or 71 miles
There are two options to choose from.
The long route has 71 miles with 7,500' of elevation gain going through a big variety of terrain and lots of redwoods. The ride host would like to practice climbing in preparation for the Santa Barbara Century ride on the 19th.
The short route cuts off the Big Basin loop and has 44 miles with 5,000' of elevation gain.
For those who have remaining energy near the end of the ride another option is ride around Lexington reservoir clockwise - a cool loop worth riding for the ups and downs and sweepers.
