2L - 33 miles - FP Friendly Vineyards / Eastern Livermore / Collier Canyon
This ride takes in the vineyards and neighborhoods of eastern Livermore.
Also do a little jaunt out Mines Road to the base of the Del Valle hill. Those more energetic than I may continue up the hill or further out Mines Road - be sure to bring plenty of water if the weather is hot. There will be a rest and refreshment stop at Starbucks (or Hop DeVine, if you prefer), at Vasco and Scenic. Return will be through north Livermore and Collier Canyon, skipping that steep hill on Manning.
This ride stages from the Ernie Rodriguez softball fields in Livermore at 1505 South Livermore Avenue- just past the bike trail crossing and Lutheran Church. Please park near the entrance to the parking lot.
After-ride food and/or libations are available at Blacksmith Square or downtown Livermore a short drive away. The route goes through downtown Livermore on the return.
