Joe Shami, an 83 year old from Lafayette, is riding his 500th consecutive ascent to Summit this Sunday. Many of Joe's friends and admirers are planning to ride with him. There will be cake at Summit to celebrate this once in a lifetime accomplishment. If VS members are interested in joining the ride, they can either meet us at Northgate beginning around 8 am or meet at Junction around 9:30. From there we'll head to Juniper and then Summit.
This is a celebratory ride for Joe and will not have a Valley Spokesmen Host.
