Please join in this memorial ride to honor a fellow cyclist and club member, Susan M. Hojnacki, who died October 14, 2015 at age 51 after a one and one-half year battle with leukemia.
The rides will start and end at Ruby Hill Winery, one of Sue's favorites, at 400 Vineyard Ave., just west of Isabel. Parking is provided in the winery parking lot. As you enter the lot turn left and park as far away from the tasting room as possible. The rides will loop us through Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Livermore. After the ride we will join together in the Gem Garden to toast Sue's life. Sue was wonderful, funny, quirky, entertaining, energetic, an amazingly strong cyclist, a scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Lab, and a certified sommelier who always dazzled us with her knowledge of wine. Bring some money for wine if desired. Sue's youngest sister, Jackie Cituk and husband, will join us at the winery after the rides.
