September 24-28 Camping trip to Del Valle We will be located in Sites 5, 7 & 8. September 26th, kayaking and hiking Sun. Sept 27th. We will start at 10:00 from the marina on the East Beach at the boat launch. If you bring your own boat remember to leave enough time for it to be inspected. We will be starting from the campground, and going to the East shore and down Dog Run. If you are not camping, meet at the boat launch at 9:45. There will be two rides; a beginner ride led by Bob Heady (925)980-7989, and an intermediate ride led by Jane Moorhead (925)980-9889. If you are just getting started on a mountain bike and would like to improve your skills, Bob's ride is for you. If you want to explore a little single track and do more climbing, join Jane's ride. Saturday September 26th Road ride -Del Valle/Flynns Start at parking lot near Arroyo Mocho Picnic Area. 2/3 M/B Two routes will be available: a shorter flatter one, and a longer hillier one. Both routes will include Del Valle Rd. start time is 9:30. To avoid the fee ( and one climb) meet at the top of Del Valle Rd. at 9:45am. A flatter option may also be available for those who want to meet us along the route. Sunday Sept 27th. Kayaking/hiking Del Valle A second opportunity to kayak and hike at Del Valle. We will start at 10:00 from the marina on the East Beach at the boat launch. A casual hike will be after lunch.If you bring your own boat remember to leave enough time for it to be inspected.
