Cinderella Classic Route
  • Classic route is 64 miles with 2,339 feet of climbing.
  • Route marked by Pink Arrows.
  • 3 rest/food stops along the way.
  • Full SAG support throughout the route.
  • Keep an eye out for the Lemon Drop Man!
  • Free parking and Cinderella patch.
  • Post-ride lunch with refreshments.
  • Rider check-in opens at 6:00 am and closes at 7:45 am.
  • All Cinderella Classic riders must depart the Dublin Senior Center by 8:00 am


The Classic route heads northeast on Highland Rd. and continues clockwise through the rural Livermore Valley to the first rest/food stop in Springtown. The route continues south through Livermore vineyards to the second Livermore rest/food stop at Rios-Lovell Winery/Vineyard. From there, the route heads west through Pleasanton to the third rest/food stop on the Happy Valley loop. The next route heads south to the historic town of Sunol before continuing back up to the start/finish at the Dublin Senior Center.

    The Cinderella Lite route is a mostly flat 42 miles with only 1000 feet of climbing. The Lite route follows Amador Valley Rd east but quickly turns right onto the Iron Horse trail to Pleasanton then east through Livermore to the first rest/food stop at Rios-Lovell Winery/Vineyard. From there, the route heads west through Pleasanton and to the second rest/food stop on the Happy Valley loop. The route continues across the Verona Bridge then north back to the Dublin Senior Center.

    The Cinderella Short route is a mostly flat 21.2 miles with only 521 feet of climbing. The Lite route follows Amador Valley Rd east but quickly turns right onto the Iron Horse trail to Pleasanton then south through Pleasanton to the rest/food stop on the Happy Valley loop. The route continues across the Verona Bridge then north back to the Dublin Senior Center.

    The Cinderella Classic will start and end at the Dublin Senior Center in Dublin, CA.

    Directions to the Start/Finish

    From I-680: Traveling north or south take I-580 west, take Exit 44A and turn right onto San Ramon Rd. Turn right onto Amador Valley Blvd. Turn right at Donohue Dr. Follow Signs. Park as directed.

    From I-580 Traveling West: take Exit 44A and turn right onto San Ramon Rd. Turn right onto Amador Valley Blvd. Turn right at Donohue Dr. Follow Signs. Park as directed.

    From I-580: Traveling East: take Exit 44A and turn left onto San Ramon Rd. Turn right onto Amador Valley Blvd. Turn right at Donohue Dr. Follow Signs. Park as directed.

    Consider taking BARTLeave the car at home. It's only 0.6 miles from the West Dublin BART station to the Dublin Senior Center. RWGPS cycling directions from BART to the Dublin Senior Center can be found HERE


    Important Reminders

    Ride safely and obey the rules of the roadBicycles are under the same rules

    of the road as motor vehicles.
    • Be safe, be courteous... This is a ride, not a race.
    • Helmets are required.
    • No headphones, ear buds, or other listening devices.
    • Police Departments in all towns and cities along the route and the Highway Patrol are aware of this ride. They will be patrolling the route for your safety and looking for traffic violations.
    • Obey all "Rules of the Road' as printed in the California Vehicle Code. A bicycle is a vehicle and subject to vehicle law.
    • Obey all signal lights and stop signs.
    • Share the road with cars and leave their share clear for safe driving.
    • Do not ride 2 and 3 abreast in the traffic lanes.
    • Ride as close to the right edge of the road as is safe. If it is not safe, take the lane.
    • Ride single file, particularly when traffic is present.
    • Signal your turns and point out hazards to other cyclists.
    • Pass other cyclists on the left only and call out "passing left" Do not pass riders on the right.
    • Riders should carry an extra tube, patch kit, tools, and identification.
    • Monitor your fellow Cinderella riders for safety, and help keep us on the road.

    Prepare your bike! Please check your bike, or ask your local bike shop to give it a once-over before you arrive. You want to make certain that all components (brakes, tires, wheels, derailleur, etc.) are ready for this ride. The Valley Spokesmen will not inspect your bicycle and are not responsible for its condition. There will be at least one local bike shop on hand to assist you with any minor mechanical problems you might encounter.

    Your spouse, partner, family and friends are welcome to meet you at the finish and all are invited to The Cinderella Expo where bicycle manufacturers, clothing suppliers and women’s organizations will have booths. Guests (non-riders) are welcome to purchase the post-ride lunch.
